Job summary

UNICEF seeks a Project Officer (Data Platform Owner) to oversee the end-to-end Data Platform (Azure Databricks) for the Supply Division in Copenhagen during a five-month parental leave period. You will own data pipelines, establish standards, and drive platform governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent degree in software engineering, computer science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in data engineering contexts.
• Fluency in English required.
• Proven experience owning or architecting a Databricks-based data platform.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data platform (Azure Databricks) product including architecture and roadmap.
• Define platform standards, monitoring, and data pipeline governance.
• Manage cross-functional delivery across onshore/offshore teams with Agile/DevOps practices.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance through governance tools like Purview.
