Job summary

Atea is building a modern Data Platform and seeks a Data Engineer to help scale trusted data across the Nordics and Baltics. You will design, build and maintain data pipelines and data models in Microsoft Fabric, collaborating with data architects, governance specialists, and stakeholders.

You will contribute to metadata management, data lineage, and enterprise information models, while focusing on data quality, documentation, and scalable solutions that enable analytics, AI, and business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, data engineering, information systems, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in a data engineering role.
Hands-on with the Microsoft data platform, especially Microsoft Fabric.
Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Purview.
Strong data modelling, transformation, and scalable data pipelines.
Knowledge of data quality, metadata, lineage, and documentation.
English fluency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and models in Microsoft Fabric.
Collaborate with data architects, governance specialists, product owners, stakeholders.
Ensure data solutions are scalable, trusted, documented, and aligned with objectives.
Develop reusable data products and clear data lineage.
Support metadata management and data cataloguing with Purview.
Contribute to MDM and enterprise information models.
Monitor performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Follow governance standards and platform best practices.
