Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Data Engineer at our Copenhagen headquarters to build and maintain data pipelines powering decision-making across the company. You will work with a modern stack including dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS, and collaborate with analytics and business stakeholders.

You will join the Copenhagen Data Engineering Chapter, a growing team focused on scalable data solutions, data quality, and best practices. This role offers opportunities to grow and take on more responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with data engineering tools such as dbt, Airflow, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS).
• Solid understanding of SQL and data modelling principles.
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Airflow and dbt.

As a Data Engineer at DFDS, you’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that builds and maintains the data infrastructure powering decision-making across the company. You’ll work closely with our data platform team, data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. You’ll join our Copenhagen Data Engineering Chapter, a growing community of engineers passionate about building scalable data solutions. We work with a modern tech stack including dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS components like S3, and we’re always exploring new ways to improve our data platform.

Key responsibilities
