Job summary

University of Southern Denmark - SDU invites applications for a three-year PhD position in data-driven critical raw material supply chain resilience. The PhD will be based at SDU Life Cycle Engineering, Odense, starting 15 February 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter, under the Department of Green Technology.

You will conduct independent research on resilience of critical raw material supply chains, develop modular data-driven approaches, and contribute to reproducible computational workflows

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent by enrolment.
• Background in engineering, industrial ecology, sustainability science or related quantitative discipline.
• Strong ability in quantitative analysis and system modeling.
• Experience with programming and data analysis (Python or similar).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
