Job summary

Hitachi Rail Limited is seeking a Data Communication Network Work Package Leader to drive design, interfaces and documentation for installation and commissioning. You will lead subsystem design, allocate requirements and close interfaces while coordinating testing and handover evidence.

You will manage schedule, budget inputs and dependencies, ensuring traceability across design, procurement and implementation, and you will communicate progress to Engineering and Project Governance in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience leading data communication network work packages or similar.
• Strong ability to manage suppliers, interfaces and lifecycle evidence.
• Understanding of requirements, architecture, interfaces, installation and test/acceptance.
• Resilience under pressure when confronted with delays or defects.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Communication Network scope, schedule, budget inputs, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure complete and traceable requirements, architecture, interface documents and handover records.
• Coordinate testing (FAT/SAT), defect resolution and integration activities.
• Report progress, blockers and readiness to Engineering and Project Governance.
• Lead subsystem design and interface closure, supporting installation/testing and handover evidence.
