Job summary

UNHCR in Copenhagen offers a Project Support Intern (Data Analysis) role within the SES division. The intern will develop dashboards in PowerBI, assist with process improvements, and support project activities under the supervision of the PSP Operations Officer.

The candidate should be fluent in English, have strong organizational skills, and be a recent graduate or current student with at least two years of undergraduate study.

Qualifications

• Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years of applying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO
• Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and create dashboards in Business Intelligence Software (e.g. PowerBI) to support reporting, monitoring and evidence-based decision-making
• Support system development and process improvement initiatives
• Provide project management support and innovative solutions to project activities
• Assist in coordinating the formulation of strategies and programmes
• Assist in coordinating and supporting the section’s presence on internal digital platforms such as SharePoint
• Organize regular team meetings and events, take notes and manage logistics
• Assist onboarding and separation of colleagues and help allocate resources for projects
