Job summary

Arla Foods amba in Denmark is seeking a Data Governance Program Manager to lead customer master data governance and turn governance ambition into everyday practice. You will establish ownership, decision forums, standards, controls, and data quality routines across markets, systems, and functions.

This is a leadership role with people responsibility, including management of the Data Steward team and support to a temporary project organisation for the Customer Master Data transformation,

Qualifications

• Implemented data governance in practice across orgs.
• Experience with master data, data quality, and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead Data Steward teams and cross-market initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Implement and embed customer data governance across markets, functions, and systems.
• Lead and develop the Data Steward team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Provide direction to the program organisation and ensure lasting governance outcomes.
• Run data governance with defined roles, decision forums, escalation paths, and operating routines.
• Define and roll out data standards, rules, controls, and lifecycle governance.
• Improve data quality using KPIs and dashboards and enable proactive prevention.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, IT, and markets.
