Job summary

The Svejstrup group at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, University of Copenhagen, invites applications for one or two Research Assistants for a 4-month project investigating ASCC3 lncRNA regulation of transcription after DNA damage.

The role focuses on CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, TTchem-seq and RNA-seq, data analysis, and collaboration within CGEN. Fixed-term, 37 hours/week, with salary around 4,577 EUR per month before pension.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biomedicine or similar.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques, including CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing.
• Experience with long non-coding RNAs and DNA damage response.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments in the laboratory and analyze data.
• Attend scientific seminars and contribute to publications.
