Job summary

Annalect, part of Omnicom Media Group, invites a Data Science Consultant to join their Denmark Data Science Consultancy team. You will work on data collection, coding, and building statistical models in R, delivering insights and actionable recommendations to clients.

You will collaborate with a project lead, grow independence over time, and present results through PowerPoint dashboards and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant academic degree such as Cand.Merc. (MAT), Cand.polit. IMM, or similar.
• Have basic experience with statistical models and methodologies.
• Possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in R Studio (or Python, SAS, VBA, SQL) and eager to develop in R.
• Experienced in Excel and PowerPoint.

About the Role

We are looking for a new colleague to join Annalect, Omnicom Media Group’s specialist unit for data-driven analytics and decision support systems. Our work includes analyses that quantify the impact of our clients’ marketing activities and provide the foundation for ongoing optimization. Annalect consists of 60 employees, with 20 dedicated to the Data Science Consultancy team. Our team utilizes mathematics, statistics, and econometrics to process large volumes of data, delivering business-oriented decision support. As a Data Science Consultant, you will be involved in the entire project lifecycle for our clients – from data collection and coding, to building and optimizing statistical models in R, and communicating results and recommendations to clients. You will work closely with a project lead and the team, receiving ongoing support and feedback. As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to conduct analyses independently, manage client communications, and deliver your own projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect client data and extract data from media systems
• Programming and data processing
• Structure, code, and interpret data
• Develop statistical models in R
• Analyze results and prepare recommendations in close collaboration with a project lead
• Prepare deliverables for clients in PowerPoint and dashboards
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with clients and media agencies throughout the project
• Lead your own projects

Your Profile

• Hold a relevant academic degree (e.g., Cand.Merc. (MAT), Cand.polit. IMM, AEF, or similar)
• Have basic experience with statistical models and methodologies
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Are proficient in R Studio (or other programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, SQL and are eager to further develop your skills in R Studio)
• Are experienced in Excel and PowerPoint
• Are interested in building an understanding of marketing, digital platforms, and the media landscape
