Job summary

EliteHosts is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all phases of a Copenhagen-based project, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high-quality standards.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and monitor safety and compliance on site. Fluency in English is required, Danish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in managing construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes.
• Fluency in English; Danish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule construction projects, taking into account budget constraints and timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for the project.
• Monitor progress of construction work and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
• Manage a team of workers including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders including clients, vendors, and government officials.
• Prepare progress reports for clients detailing project status and any issues or delays.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and address any problems that may arise.

This is a contract position based in Copenhagen with a salary of 1300$. Accommodation will not be provided but the company will cover visa fees and provide airfare. We welcome applicants from all nationalities who meet the above requirements.
