Job summary

NexaVision in Esbjerg, Denmark seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide personal care and daily support for elderly or disabled clients at home. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility and companionship while maintaining dignity and respect.

The role offers flexible hours, training for non-experienced candidates, and opportunity for growth within the caregiving field. English and Danish language skills are a plus; CPR/First Aid certification is welcome.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions from clients/family or healthcare professionals.
• Physical stamina to assist with mobility and household tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Danish language skills are a plus.
• Valid work permit/visa for Denmark preferred for non-EU citizens.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions and assisting with feeding if needed.
• Administering medication on schedule and tracking health changes.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks like laundry and dishes.
• Providing companionship and promoting social interaction with clients.
• Communicating regularly with family members or healthcare professionals about clients' conditions.
