Job description

Can you find the stories worth telling and shape how an industrial sensor manufacturer communicates?

SulfiLogger is an international niche company that develops and sells high-tech chemical sensors to industrial customers around the world. Our sensors are used in industries including wastewater, biogas, oil & gas, and aquaculture where they help our customers monitor and optimize critical processes.

We operate in a technically complex B2B environment where the value of our solutions is best illustrated through customer stories. We know there are many great stories about how our sensors create value for our customers, but we simply don't have the capacity to tell them all. That's where you come in.

About the position

The Communication Specialist role is newly created, making you the first additional member of our marketing team, where you will report to our Marketing Manager.

You will own our communications function, and we expect you to independently drive it forward with sparring and support from our Marketing Manager. You should be comfortable working in a position, where there won't be a to-do list with 12 clearly defined tasks waiting for you when you arrive in the morning. You need to identify what needs to be done, take initiative, and drive projects from idea to execution independently and without relying on agencies.

Your main responsibility will be to tell the stories of how our products create value for our customers. At the same time, you will help shape the direction of our communications and ensure consistent messaging across everything we do - from ongoing communication on LinkedIn and in newsletters to the content customers face on our website, in PowerPoint presentations, in dialogues with our distributors, and in the printed materials they receive at trade shows.

The content will primarily be text-based, including case studies, customer success stories, blog posts, LinkedIn posts, and articles for industry publications. But we also want to make greater use of video-based content.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate has a background in communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a similar field, and at least two years of experience with B2B communications, either in-house or from an agency.

It is not important that you know anything about industrial sensors, biogas, or wastewater. What is important is that you:

  • are curious, proactive, and persistent when it comes to finding the stories worth telling
  • can understand technical and complex topics, identify the value our solutions provide, and communicate it in a relevant and engaging way
  • can think strategically - but also get things done
  • write fluent and professional English

Any additional skills is a plus. This could, for example, be within video, design and layout, web, AI, SEO/GEO, or similar areas.

What we offer

At SulfiLogger, you will join an international growth company where there is plenty of opportunities for executing on new ideas fast. You will have a high degree of independence and responsibility in your daily work, the opportunity to set the direction of our communications, and significant influence on shaping the role itself.

We are based near Egå Engsø in Risskov, with easy access by bus and letbane. You will be part of a team of more than 40 colleagues here, and we also have a division in Houston that you will support as part of your role. You can expect a good and inclusive working environment, free breakfast and lunch daily, and a high degree of flexibility in your daily work.

Practical information
  • Working hours: 37 hours/week (or the possibility of part-time if preferred)
  • Location: Risskov (limited opportunity for working from home)
  • Salary: Based on qualifications
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • We invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis and encourage you to apply quickly
