Provide guidance and mentorship, coordinate stakeholders, assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage the resolution of any issues that may arise during the commissioning process.
  • Resource Allocation: Work with the lead commissioning manager to ensure that the project and team are allocated the correct level of personnel, equipment, and materials to various commissioning activities based on project needs and priorities. Manage your own time and execution of the scope provided.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes so that all commissioning activities and gateways meet client expectations, contractual obligations, specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements. Track, oversee and witness the execution of tests, inspections, and verifications to verify functionality and performance of systems and equipment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and track potential risks and challenges that may impact the commissioning process and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow Sygna’s Health & Safety systems and local project requirements. Maintain relevant health and safety records to meet regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Client Communication: Interact with clients during the project lifecycle, providing updates to the lead commissioning manager on progress, planned versus achieved outcomes, and addressing any concerns or issues to ensure commissioning outcomes are communicated.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of commissioning methodologies and engineering to troubleshoot complex issues, resolve conflicts, and optimise system performance. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Track all commissioning activities to ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Develop test procedures, generate reports, and maintain compliance records to provide a clear audit trail of the commissioning process.
