Job summary

JUMBO Consulting Group, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, seeks a Contract Advisor on EPC projects to support procurement, contract management, claims management, and dispute resolution across offshore wind and energy infrastructure.

As a full-time seconded consultant, you will work within client teams, guiding commercial and contractual decisions, ensuring effective contract development and administration throughout project lifecycles, with a focus on timely delivery and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law.
  • Experience in a contract management, legal, or commercial role.
  • Experience in offshore wind, renewable energy, or major infrastructure or energy projects.
  • Background in managing, drafting, or negotiating key project contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Structured, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage processes independently and lead negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the project management team to support successful project delivery, balancing contractual risks with practical and commercially viable solutions.
  • Maintaining continuous oversight of critical contractual milestones, assessing rights and obligations, and ensuring compliant execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading and managing project changes, variations, and claims while safeguarding our client’s commercial interests.
  • Providing clear interpretation of contractual terms, preparing and coordinating project correspondence, and monitoring performance against contractual obligations.
  • Managing the commercial relationship with contractors during project execution, maintaining proactive and transparent communication to address issues early and effectively.
  • Ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery of contractual responsibilities within the defined mandate.
  • Leading relevant governance processes and preparing presentations, reports, and decision‑making materials for internal and external stakeholders, including Steering Committees.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, tools, and governance structures.

Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as a Contract Advisor on EPC projects, supporting procurement activities, contract management, claims management, and dispute resolution. You will provide commercial and contractual guidance throughout the project lifecycle, helping to ensure contracts are effectively developed, administered, and managed in line with project objectives.

You will be employed by JUMBO Consulting Group on a full-time basis and seconded into projects with our clients. As a consultant, you will work as an integrated part of the client's team, providing specialist contract and commercial expertise across offshore wind, onshore wind, and other large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
