Job summary

Mayday cleaning in Copenhagen is hiring a Cleaning Specialist for a part to full-time, on-site role. You will perform general cleaning tasks across residential and commercial spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, offices and common areas, while following client checklists and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in home cleaning and office cleaning to professional standards.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently following instructions and checklists.

• Ability to communicate clearly in English and/or Danish with clients and team members.
• Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred; on-the-job training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform general surface cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal and sanitizing kitchens, bathrooms and offices.
• Carry out scheduled deep cleaning tasks and restock supplies.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols and client checklists.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure equipment is stored correctly.

Role Description

The Cleaning Specialist is a part to full-time, on-site role based in Copenhagen, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in residential and commercial settings. Daily tasks include general surface cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and common areas. The role also involves performing scheduled deep cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and following safety and hygiene protocols. The Cleaning Specialist will work according to assigned checklists and client requirements, ensure equipment is used and stored correctly, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Home Cleaning and House Cleaning, including routine and deep cleaning of living spaces
• Experience in Commercial Cleaning, maintaining offices, retail spaces, or other business premises to professional standards
• Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment, and willingness to follow safety and hygiene guidelines
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently while following instructions and checklists
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment as needed throughout the shift
• Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred; on-the-job training can be provided
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and/or Danish and interact respectfully with clients and team members
