Job summary

TELUS Digital AI Community seeks contributors with a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering background to ensure AI understands molecules, formulas, and safety rules. You don’t need to be a computer scientist—just know your way around a periodic table and a lab manual.

You will check formulas, review safety guidance, clean lab data for pattern recognition, and translate complex chemistry concepts for students and non-experts. This is a remote, contract-based role with a global expert network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry.
• Native-level proficiency in your primary language.
• Basic English (B1) to understand project instructions.
• Accuracy: a single wrong letter or number in a formula changes everything.

Responsibilities

• Check formulas for scientific accuracy.
• Review safety guidance on chemical handling and mixing.
• Clean up lab data to help AI recognize patterns in experiments.
• Explain complex chemistry concepts in simple terms for students or non experts.
