Job summary

United Media is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance across a growing portfolio of companies in Copenhagen. You will own financial strategy, reporting, tax compliance, and investor relations, while driving scalable processes in a fast-moving startup/scale-up environment.

The role requires a master or bachelor with outstanding results, 8+ years in finance, EU work permit, and a sharp eye for detail and problem solving. Office-based in Copenhagen Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree with outstanding results.
• Have +8 years of work experience with outstanding performance within finance, auditing or assurance.
• Have an EU work permit.
• Have an exceptional attention to detail.
• Have excellent problem solving skills.
• Are highly process oriented and systematic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of both financial and operational performance.
• Assume responsibility for day to day finance operations such as cash flow, payments, payroll and P&L.
• Secure compliance with relevant standards and rules within tax, VAT and transfer pricing.
• Support and report to management on strategic decisions (budgets, management accounts etc.)
