Job summary

NOV is seeking a Software Engineer (C#) to develop new and existing software applications for the Subsea Production Systems departments. You will own architecture, refactor code as needed, and collaborate with end users throughout product development.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, CS or equivalent, or autodidact software developer.
• Full-stack engineer capable of building end-to-end solutions.
• Strong experience with C# programming.
• Proficient with SQL databases.
• Experience using GitHub and Copilot.
• Experience with WPF, EF Core and MVVM Toolkit.
• Knowledge of packaging and deploying containerized apps, preferably with Kubernetes.
• Experience in agile product development environments.
• Several years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing software applications supporting Subsea Production Systems.
• Create simple solutions to complex problems and engage with end users during development.
• Refactor code on the go and address non-urgent bugs or tasks.
• Participate in cross-team projects across the organization.
• Contribute to AI-related applications and tools within the team.
• Collaborate with end users to ensure useful releases.
