Business Controller & Power BI-Superuser
— ACO Nordic Group
Ringsted, Denmark (35 min by train from Copenhagen) · Flexible, 1–2 remote days/week after onboarding · Danish and English are required.
Do you like to be the person who decides how the company sees its own data — not just build the reports, but shape how a whole organization makes decisions with them?
We're hiring a Business Controller, with highly developed Power BI skills, to own our Power BI environment end to end: architecture, governance, and the day-to‑day build. You'll work directly with Finance, IT, and business leaders across the Nordics and Baltics.
What you'll be doing
- Own the Power BI environment across ACO Nordic — architecture, governance, and roadmap, not just report requests
- Design and build dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking that leadership relies on
- Set and enforce data quality and governance standards across the environment
- Partner directly with Finance and business stakeholders to turn reporting requests into working solutions
- Train and support end users across the Group (occasional travel to other Nordic/Baltic sites)
- Help push a genuinely data-driven culture — your call on what "good" looks like will carry weight
What you bring
- A finance background and work experience as a Business Controller
- Solid hands‑on Power BI experience — data modelling, DAX, Power Query
- Comfortable with (or curiosity about) Microsoft Fabric, Copilot in Power BI, and the wider Azure data stack
- An analytical mindset — you like finding the story in messy data
- Strong communication skills — you can translate between data and business without losing either side
What we offer
- A unique opportunity to own and shape the entire Power BI landscape across 7 countries
- High visibility and direct collaboration with senior leaders and decision-makers across the Nordic and Baltic region
- Freedom to influence how data, reporting, and governance are built and used throughout the organization
- A collaborative and international environment where your ideas can quickly become reality
- Professional and personal development opportunities tailored to your ambitions
- Flexible working conditions with the possibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week
- A Great Place to Work certified culture with strong teamwork, trust, and informal leadership
- Social events, team activities, and a workplace where relationships matter as much as results
- Competitive salary, pension scheme, health insurance, employee benefits
