EG A/S seeks a Business Analyst to translate complex payroll and finance needs into smart, simple solutions for the public sector in Denmark. You will work with customers and support teams to understand requirements and prioritize development.

You will craft user stories, align solutions with clients, and explore how AI can optimize processes. The role is hybrid, based in Aarhus, with impact on Payroll, Financial Management and Bookkeeping domains.

Qualifications

Help shape the payroll and finance solutions of the future for the public sector in Denmark. At EG, we're looking for a Business Analyst who can translate complex needs into smart, simple solutions

As part of the department
You will be part of a team that maintains and develops products and services for the portfolio within Payroll and Finance.

As a Business Analyst, you will have a close dialogue with our customers and our customer support. A close dialogue is an important prerequisite for understanding the customers' needs and prioritizing our efforts in the development department. You will be the translator between technology and requirements.

Your role: Translate, Align and Deliver
You will have the opportunity to work with many complex issues, where you actively contribute by using your toolbox to ensure the right and best solution for the customer.

The tasks are, for example:

• Understand the customer's work and the customer's requirements.

• Translate customer requirements into well-described user stories with clear requirements that can be understood by your fellow developers.

• Align solutions with customers.

• Think about the use of AI to continuously optimize our working methods.

• Assess the impact on the customer on incidents and participate in the resolution.

• Continuously update documentation – both externally and internally.

• Prepare test cases and perform tests (system, integration and user tests).

• Facilitate and participate in workshops with clients.

• Provide input to the team's Product Owner regarding, among other things, prioritization and estimation of the tasks.

You are the ideal candidate if you
Have a master's degree or a shorter higher education in Business or IT. Maybe HA/Cand.merc, Cand.merc. Mat or something completely different.

Maybe you are currently working in a municipality's Payroll and Finance department and want to try your hand at the IT side instead.

The most important thing is that you have the desire, energy and interest, and we will help you gain business knowledge.

To be successful in the role, it is important that you:

• Have strong analytical skills and have the courage to familiarize yourself with a complex area.

• See the use of AI as a positive opportunity and not a threat.

• Have good communication skills both in writing and orally.

• Can translate your experience in balancing business considerations and functional requirements in IT projects into concrete results.

• Strive to gain an understanding of Payroll, Financial Management and Bookkeeping.

• Can work both in close collaboration and independently and know when to seek help from colleagues.

• Are fluent in English both written and verbal.

• You are a team player who contributes with energy, humor and the will to succeed.
