Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Denmark in Hillerød invites applications for a Student Assistant to support MSAT Upstream and Downstream lab activities. You will help with lab prep, sample handling and documentation while gaining hands-on experience in cell culture and protein purification under supervision.

The role involves approximately 15 hours per week across weekdays and every third weekend, with training provided and opportunities to work shifts.

Qualifications

• You are enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree programme (e.g., biotechnology, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science).
• You have a basic understanding of laboratory work and safe handling practices.
• You are able to follow written procedures and document work accurately.
• You are reliable, organized and eager to learn; able to work in a team and independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Support routine upstream and downstream laboratory operations.
• Prepare tubing assemblies, feeders, media, buffers and labels for runs.
• Assist bioreactor and wave-bag activities, sampling and QC sample delivery.
• Record experimental results and maintain data in approved systems (Excel, Statistica, MFCS).
• Maintain laboratory readiness: glassware washing, restocking and waste records.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external partners for equipment and shipments.
