Job description

Do you enjoy turning business questions into reports that people can rely on in their day-to-day work? And do you like working close to the business, using SQL, and a large reporting estate, seeing your work make an impact straight away? Then you may be the person we are looking for to join us as our new BI Reporting Specialist, taking ownership of reporting that keeps Collectia running.

Own the reports the business runs on

Your work will be closely tied to core business outcomes, and you will be responsible for building, updating, and maintaining the reports and scheduled data deliveries that our teams and clients depend on across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Finland. This is all hands‑on reporting work done in a live estate, not prototypes. You will also help us modernise and streamline a large reporting catalogue and improve the reliability of its delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Building, updating, and maintaining reports in our SQL Server Reporting Services estate
  • Creating and managing scheduled report and file deliveries to internal teams and clients
  • Turning report requests into clear, correct output, and validating the numbers against known cases
  • Investigating and fixing report errors, incorrect figures, and failed deliveries
  • Helping retire old and unused reports, and keeping the catalogue clean and documented
  • Working with our AI and automation tools that support the reporting workflow
Our tech stack includes:
  • SQL Server and T‑SQL across a multi‑database estate
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
  • Python for data work and automation
  • Git, Docker and Linux
  • Azure
You will be part of:

A highly skilled and international team, where collaboration and innovation come together in an informal culture. We work closely with the business to develop data-driven, efficient and transparent solutions. You will have real ownership of an area that matters to the entire company, with room to grow toward more senior data and BI responsibilities over time.

We offer a lunch scheme, pension, health insurance and employee benefits, including an in-house hairdresser and masseur, car wash and fitness subscription.

What does your (possibly) future colleague say?

“Working at Collectia is an inspiring journey. The focus on passion, innovation, respect and transparency creates an environment where I feel valued and motivated. The inclusive culture supports both personal growth and creativity, and as an international colleague, I’ve experienced a warm welcome and a supportive work‑life balance. I’m proud to be part of this company.”— Saeid, Data Engineer.

Qualifications and experience:
  • A relevant educational background, or equivalent practical experience, in a data, IT or quantitative field
  • 1 to 3 years of hands‑on experience building reports or working with data, ideally from finance or another regulated industry
  • Strong data analysis skills, and the ability to explore, interpret and validate data and spot errors in results (a must)
  • Solid SQL skills and confidence working across multiple databases
  • Experience with a reporting tool such as SSRS or Power BI
  • Some Python experience is an advantage, along with an interest in automation
  • A structured and systematic way of working, with attention to documentation, quality, and delivery

You are curious, proactive and self‑driven, and you like to get things done. At the same time, you bring a business‑oriented mindset, and care that output is correct and useful, not only produced. As English is our daily working language, you communicate clearly in English; Danish is an advantage.

Location and terms:
  • Full‑time, 37 hours per week – based in Brøndby
  • Salary will reflect your qualifications and experience
  • Clean criminal record and no registrations with credit information agencies
