Job summary

itm8 Danmark seeks a BI & Analytics Developer to shift from traditional reporting to a modern analytics landscape built on Microsoft Fabric, trusted data products, and user-friendly insight experiences. You will work with business stakeholders, platform colleagues and BI developers to translate needs into reusable data products and intuitive visualisations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, e.g. Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake, semantic models or related capabilities.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and reusable data products.
• Experience with Power BI or comparable BI/visualisation tools, including modelling, report design and interactive insight experiences.
• Comfortable with SQL and DAX; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Git integration, CI/CD, version control and deployment pipelines.

At itm8, we are investing heavily in data, analytics and AI. We are looking for a BI & Analytics Developer who can turn our Microsoft Fabric foundation into trusted insights, modern analytics experiences and real business value.

Our common data platform is taking shape. Now we need someone who can help shape how data is consumed, explored and visualised across itm8 - from semantic models and governed self-service to innovative analytics and decision-support tools.

Your Role

As our BI & Analytics Developer, you will help itm8 move from traditional reporting towards a modern analytics landscape built on Microsoft Fabric, trusted data products and user-friendly insight experiences.

Working with business stakeholders, platform colleagues and fellow BI developers, you will translate business needs into reusable data products, intuitive visualisations, semantic models and analytics solutions.

In practice, you will:

• Design modern analytics, visualisation and decision-support solutions using Microsoft Fabric and relevant BI/analytics tools.
• Build semantic models and investigate data lineage and quality issues so insights can be trusted.
• Challenge traditional reporting approaches and find smarter ways to enable exploration, adoption and better decisions.

• Enjoys investigating data, understanding where numbers come from and solving data quality issues.
• Is curious, pragmatic and motivated by emerging analytics and visualisation technologies that people actually use.

What you bring

Mindset matters most, but ideally you bring:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, for example Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake, semantic models or related capabilities.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and reusable data products.
• Experience with Power BI or comparable BI/visualisation tools, including modelling, report design and interactive insight experiences.
• Comfortable with SQL and DAX; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Git integration, CI/CD, version control and deployment pipelines.

It would be an advantage if you also have experience with

• AI-assisted analytics, Copilot or similar tools that support insight generation.
• Data storytelling, information design and modern visualisation practices.
