Spirii ApS in Copenhagen is seeking a Backend Software Engineer for the Payments team to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript that power the data ingestion, processing, and invoice generation.

You'll contribute to cloud-native, secure, scalable, queue-based processing on AWS, ensuring financial accuracy and data integrity for invoices and payouts while collaborating across Finance and partner teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript or JavaScript (Node.js, NestJS) and cloud-based microservice architectures.
• Hands-on with test-driven development, API design, and secure software practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering invoice, credit memo, and payout flows.
• Develop cloud-native, event-driven architectures on AWS and reliable queue-based processing.
• Ensure financial data integrity with accurate aggregation and auditability.
• Collaborate with ERP integrations and internal teams; participate in code reviews and testing.

It's a domain where correctness and financial data integrity are non-negotiable.
