You will build and maintain Kotlin/Java backend services in the OCPP and charge point domain, debug field issues, and improve observability while collaborating across Product, Support and Operations teams to ship

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of backend engineering experience or strong junior track record with production exposure.
• Proficiency in JVM languages (Kotlin preferred; Java acceptable).
• Experience debugging and reading logs, traces, and field-reported issues.
• Strong ownership and ability to ship and monitor production systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services in the OCPP and charge point domain.
• Debug field-reproducible issues by reading OCPP traffic and reproducing against emulator.
• Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, and alerts.
• Participate in on-call after ramp-up.
• Automate manual work to scale the network.
• Collaborate with Product, Support and Operations teams.
