Job summary

UNDP in Copenhagen is seeking a Development Analyst to design, develop, deploy and maintain software applications and automation tools. You will contribute to modern development practices using Rust, Node.js, Python, and Docker within a scalable enterprise IT environment.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, agile processes, and ongoing innovation to improve service automation and knowledge management across UNDP IT systems.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required; strong communication skills.
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience with Rust, Node.js and Python in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy production-grade software applications.
• Build cloud-ready, containerized services using Docker and microservices.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver automated solutions.
• Maintain documentation and follow coding standards and CI/CD practices.
• Support knowledge sharing and capacity-building within the team.
