Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Kalundborg seeks an Engineering Responsible for Automatic Visual Inspection (AVI) to own and optimise AVI equipment in Drug Product Manufacturing. You will collaborate with production, QA, and external suppliers to maintain high quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role combines technical inspection expertise with process optimisation in a highly automated facility. Strong problem-solving, a GMP mindset, and fluent Danish/English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or possess equivalent technical experience.
• Bring experience from a GMP- or GxP-regulated manufacturing environment and understand the importance of compliance and validation.
• Have experience working with automated production equipment and an interest in vision-based inspection technologies, automation, or machine optimisation.
• Apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to identify, address, and prevent technical issues.
• Communicate effectively in both Danish and English and work well across disciplines and organisational levels.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the daily performance, operation, and optimisation of AVI equipment.
• Driving continuous improvements to vision inspection recipes, machine settings, and inspection reliability.
• Identifying root causes of technical challenges and implementing sustainable solutions to minimise downtime.
• Collaborating with production, QA, and external suppliers to ensure efficient and compliant processes.
• Contributing to optimisation, standardisation, and validation activities supporting business goals and quality requirements.
