Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Kalundborg is seeking an Automation Engineer for API Manufacturing 5 (M5). You will support daily production and contribute to lines under implementation, maintaining ABB 800xA, PAS-X, PLC programs, and related automation systems.

Qualifications

BSc, MSc or technician degree in Engineering/Automation/IT, or extensive relevant experience.
At least three years of experience with ABB 800xA, PAS-X, PLC programming.
Experience in systematic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and GMP requirements.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Support automation systems in a GMP-regulated production environment.
Troubleshoot technical issues using systematic problem-solving methodologies.
Drive continuous improvements of systems, processes and procedures.
Review and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate closely with production, engineering teams and external partners.
Ensure system integration and compliance with GMP requirements.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous development across the organisation.
