Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our on-site Denmark team located at Frejasvej 2-6. You will work within the D&E department to design, engineer, and implement automation software for customer projects.

Expect cross-region collaboration and extensive documentation standards. The role involves software deliveries based on customer specs, supporting production start-up and test activities, and upgrades with service teams at client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation (PLC programming).
• Practical experience with specifying, designing, testing and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Excellent Danish and English written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a natural approach to a high documentation level.

Responsibilities

• Design and confirm process matching URS and FDS at project start.
• Prepare and engineer the product with the D&E team.
• Deliver software with a well-documented, pre-tested codebase.
• Assist production with start-up, adjustment and testing including Pre-FAT.
• Prepare upgrades and changes with the service department at existing customers.
• Read, understand, and reuse others’ work and documentation.
• Collaborate across regions and divisions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamicteam.

Key Responsibilities:

At the start of customer specific projects the D&E department will design and confirm the process matching the User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Function Design Specification (FDS), The Software/automation Engineer will together with the colleagues in D&E prepare and engineer the product accordingly.

The customer specific projects are primarily created by a package of automation industrial components, and in-house developed software.

Software deliveries:

Based on the confirmed customer specification the responsibility of the software/automation engineer is to provide a well-documented and pre-tested codebase.

Assist production with start-up, adjustment and test including Pre-FAT

Prepare and execute upgrades and changes together with the service department at existing customers

The daily work will consist of applying verified and approved code, which requires that you are able to read, understand and use other people’s work and documentation.

A normal work day involves contact with many divisions, also across different regions.
