The Materials Science & Engineering Center at the Department of Biological & Chemical Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark, invites applications for Assistant Professors.
The successful candidate(s) will be affiliated with the Center’s projects led by Prof. Dr. Anja-Verena Mudring and funded by the NovoNordisk Foundation.
The positions are 4-year positions from 1 January 2027 or as soon possible.

The Materials Science and Engineering Center at the Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering at Aarhus University, Denmark is a unit that is comprising materials synthesis, characterization and modelling.
Its current focus is the investigation of ionic liquids and high temperature molten salts for engineering applications such as thermal energy storage and management, lubrication, molten salt reactor research as well as task-specific media for active pharmaceutical ingredient development.

Salary and terms as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Confederation of Professional Unions at basic salary steps 4-8.
