Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed a PhD degree in a relevant discipline
• The ability to teach basic mechanical engineering curricula
• Communication skills in English at an adequate level for research communication and teaching
• Postdoctoral research positions (preferred)
• Co-supervision of PhD students (preferred)
• Teaching and course development (preferred)
• Funding applications (preferred)
• Collaboration with industrial partners (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise students in mechanical engineering programs
• Contribute to research in naval architecture, marine engineering, and related fields
• Engage with industry and external partners for collaboration and outreach
• Develop independent research profile and pursue external funding
• Participate in administration and the Maritime Center activities within SDU ME
