Job summary

Hybrid Greentech is a Danish energy trading company and VPP operator seeking an Asset Integration Engineer to onboard assets and scale the process. You will work on on-site network setup, Modbus/IEC 104 integrations, and API tooling for BESS, PV, and other high-voltage assets.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, automation, and collaboration in a fast-growing clean-tech environment with a strong ownership culture.

Qualifications

1-5 years in Asset Integration, Operations, Commissioning or as an electrical engineer working with energy systems.
Experience with, or willingness to learn networking.
Experience with minimum two of Rust, C, C++ and C#.
High-voltage systems, such as BESS, PV, and other flexible assets.

Responsibilities

Understanding on-site network configurations and setting up communication hardware accordingly, as well as ensuring connectivity once said hardware is on-site.
Creating Modbus integrations to Power Plant Controllers or directly to OEMs.
Managing our API integrations and assisting partners integrate into our API.
Perform pre-qualification (PQ) tests of assets and do failure analysis in case of test-failures.
Doing low-level programming to improve our existing support tools or to develop new tools, such as pre-qualification modules or Database interfaces.
