Job summary

GlowUp Kuwait in Denmark is seeking a proactive Junior Network and Systems Administrator student to support and learn on our IT infrastructure. You will work with senior staff to monitor servers, networks, and security and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

This role is ideal for a motivated student pursuing an IT career, offering real responsibilities and room to grow. Danish nationality preferred but international applicants legally allowed to work in Denmark are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
• Experience with Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP) and network security concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software, hardware, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform regular backups and maintain data security.
• Set up user accounts and permissions.
• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network related issues.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
