Job summary

FutureTech in Odense, Denmark is seeking an Architectural Technologist to design and develop architectural plans and drawings for construction projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers and clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs while complying with building codes.

You will create detailed plans and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit, support project proposals and budgets, conduct site visits, and help ensure designs are implemented correctly on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural technology.
• Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience working on residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Danish building codes and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts for construction projects.
• Create detailed plans, drawings and 3D models using design software.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and incorporate them into the design process.
• Conduct site visits to gather information for designs or monitor progress during construction.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
• Keep up-to-date on new developments in architectural technology and materials.
• Assist with preparing project proposals, budgets, timelines and presentations.
