Job summary

RedLine Freight Services seeks an Architectural Technologist - Design and Drafting Specialist to produce precise 2D and 3D drawings using CAD tools. You will develop detailed plans, elevations, and sections for construction projects, ensuring code compliance and clear team communication.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and at least 2 years of CAD drafting experience (Revit preferred), with strong attention to detail and independence as well as team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting experience (Autodesk Revit preferred).
• Knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.
• Strong technical skills to produce accurate drawings quickly.
• Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience on commercial or residential projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop architectural plans and drawings.
• Use CAD to create 2D and 3D models of buildings and components.
• Prepare detailed construction documents including floor plans, elevations, sections.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and zoning regulations.
• Research and select appropriate construction materials.
• Communicate with contractors during construction to resolve issues.
