Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural drafting using CAD software (Autodesk Revit preferred).
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.
• Strong technical skills with ability to produce accurate drawings quickly.
• Proficient in 2D drafting, hand-drawing, and 3D modeling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience on commercial or residential projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop detailed architectural plans and drawings.
• Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings, structures, and building components.
• Prepare detailed construction documents including floor plans, elevations, sections and details.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards.
• Research and select appropriate materials for construction projects.
• Communicate with contractors during the construction process to resolve any issues or questions that may arise.
