BEUMER Group invites a motivated Electrical/Electronics Engineering student to join the SECTRO team in Denmark for a paid internship lasting about five months, starting February 2027. You will work alongside software, controls, electrical and mechanical engineers, contributing to feature development and live deployments in airport environments.

Unique opportunity: SECTRO is a new product platform that is currently under active development. As part of the team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to both the development of new features and the introduction of the product into live airport operations. This means you will gain experience not only with product development, but also with system integration, testing, commissioning, and the practical challenges of deploying solutions in a real-world environment.

SECTRO Team

As part of the SECTRO organization, you will join a cross-functional team consisting of software, controls, electrical and mechanical engineers.

• Supporting the design and documentation of electrical installations and control systems.
• Assisting with electrical layouts, schematics, and component selection.
• Participating in system integration and testing activities.
• Working with field devices, sensors, networking equipment, and screening technologies.
• Contributing to the development and verification of new product features and concepts.
• Collaborating with experienced engineers in an international environment.
• Gaining hands-on experience with real-world automation technologies.

Internship Details

The internship is paid and lasts approximately 5 months - the exact period will be agreed with your manager. And if both parties agree, it is possible to continue as a student worker after the internship.

You will be part of the team on equal terms with the rest of your colleagues and as such be involved in the development process. You will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will ensure you have the support and tools and knowledge you need to get started, and who will be there to support you throughout the internship. You will also have the opportunity to spend time with our interns from across the business, sharing your knowledge, experience and social event.
