Job summary

Aarhus University invites applications for an academic staff member (AC Bachelor) in AI and Radiology. The position is 10 hours/week, fixed term until 31 August 2028, based at Aarhus University Hospital in the Central Denmark Region.

You will contribute to AI research on clinical data and image analysis, develop research projects, and collaborate with researchers and industry partners. Opportunities for co-authorship exist.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a medical or natural sciences Master’s degree.
• Interest in AI, research, and data analysis.
• Advantage if you are in early Master studies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI, clinical data, and image analysis research.
• Support development of new research projects within AURA.
• Apply LLMs to extract information from radiology reports and records.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement projects.
• Develop and validate AI-based methods for osteoporosis screening.
• Collaborate with an external industry partner.
• Participate in new AI and radiology projects.
• Contribute to preparing scientific publications (first/co-authorship).
• Join group meetings, journal clubs, and academic activities.
