Job summary

DTU Compute – Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at DTU Lyngby Campus invites a student to help develop and test AI-assisted online mathematics tutorials using RAG and Quarto.

You will collaborate with DTU teachers and developers, work about 15 hours per week starting December 1, 2026, and contribute code via Git/GitHub while gaining experience in digital learning and open-source educational tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant in mathematics.
• Proficiency in Python, Git/GitHub and Markdown.
• Experience with AI/LLMs and/or RAG.
• Interest in mathematics teaching and digital learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test RAG-based support for Quarto mathematics tutorials.
• Work with course notes in PDF/Markdown and improve retrieval and AI responses.
• Test the solution on MAT1 material and InterMat.
• Contribute code via Git/GitHub.
