Job summary

Pandora A/S, headquartered in Copenhagen, invites engineers to join a data governance team building an AI-native platform that governs data products across Unity Catalog, Confluent Schema Registry, and OpenMetadata. You will craft scalable APIs, automate governance, and secure data access at scale within a world-leading jewellery company.

Qualifications

• AI-native mindset with structured prompts and production workflows.
• Hands-on Unity Catalog: metastore, access controls, and programmatic management.
• Experience with Confluent Schema Registry, schema evolution, and compatibility rules.
• Strong software engineering: API design, testing, CI/CD, containerization, IaC.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and Terraform.
• Clear communication to tech and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve Data Governance APIs for Unity Catalog, Schema Registry, and OpenMetadata.
• Develop AI-enhanced governance automation using LLMs and eval harnesses.
• Design and implement the access management model for data governance.
• Operate and automate Unity Catalog and Schema Registry configurations with Terraform and CI/CD.
• Maintain OpenMetadata-based data catalog with ingestion pipelines and API integrations.
• Instrument governance adoption metrics like compliance rates and ownership coverage.
