Job summary

Twoday is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help transform LLM-based platforms into secure, production-ready services, with emphasis on on‑premise deployments in Aarhus.

You will work across development and operations, applying Python and leading LLM frameworks to build reliable AI solutions, including RAG, prompts and tool calling, while ensuring governance, security and traceability.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Aarhus, with opportunities to grow within a Nordic tech consultancy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production‑ready LLM solutions.
• Strong Python skills and experience with relevant LLM frameworks.
• Experience with RAG, prompt design, tool calling and structured outputs.
• Knowledge of local or self‑hosted models and inference infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, Linux, APIs and CI/CD.
• A pragmatic approach to hallucination reduction, validation and monitoring.
• Fluent Danish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work full time onsite in Aarhus.

AI Engineer – LLMs and On-Premise AI

Do you have hands‑on experience building reliable LLM solutions and deploying models in controlled environments? We are looking for an AI Engineer to join Twoday and work on an important digital solution for a Danish public‑sector organisation in Aarhus.

Your role

You will work across the development and operation of LLM-based solutions, with a particular focus on models running on‑premise. You will help turn AI concepts into secure, stable and production‑ready services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and integrating LLM-based applications and agents
• Deploying and operating LLM models in on‑premise environments
• Building RAG solutions, structured workflows and validation layers
• Improving model reliability through guardrails, testing and monitoring
• Integrating AI services with existing applications and APIs
• Working with sensitive data and high requirements for security and traceability

What we are looking for

• Practical experience developing production‑ready LLM solutions
• Strong Python skills and experience with relevant LLM frameworks
• Experience with RAG, prompt design, tool calling and structured outputs
• Knowledge of local or self‑hosted models and inference infrastructure
• Experience with Docker, Linux, APIs and CI/CD
• A pragmatic approach to hallucination reduction, validation and monitoring
• Fluent Danish and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work full time onsite in Aarhus

Experience with model fine‑tuning, GPU infrastructure, NLP or regulated environments is an advantage.
