Job summary

Vestas seeks an Aeroelastic Stability Specialist to lead stability methodologies, frameworks, and decision-making across turbine development. You will drive modelling, simulation, and evidence packages, partnering with blade design, system integration, testing, and certification teams.

The role emphasizes governance, traceability, and alignment with product roadmaps, with international collaboration and travel. Primary locations are Aarhus, Denmark or Porto, Portugal.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical/Structural/Aerospace or related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience incl. 5+ years aeroelastic stability in wind turbines.
• Experience defining stability criteria and modelling frameworks across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for aeroelastic stability across products and projects.
• Define and maintain stability standards and governance frameworks.
• Lead validation activities, correlating simulations with test and field data.
