Job summary

Aeven is seeking two Advanced Network Advisors to influence the design of business-critical network infrastructures. The role involves liaising with clients, our advisory specialists, and delivery teams to deliver stable network solutions aligned with customer needs.

Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong skills across Cisco ACI, security services and routing/switching, and fluency in Danish and English. Some project management experience is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for two experienced Network Advisors to join our network advisory architect team in Ballerup, Odense, Århus or Ålborg. Do you have passion for delivering network solutions to your clients? Would you like to influence the short- and long-term design of a business-critical client network infrastructure solution?

Your Responsibilities As An Advanced Network Advisor

You will play the key, strategic role, acting as a link between our network Advisory team, our customer, our delivery organization, and external business partners.

As a Advanced Network Advisor, you will be attending client meetings, and it will be your responsibility to recognize and understand customers’ commercial needs, and in cooperation with the Aeven Advisory specialists, offer stable network solutions meeting the expected quality.

You will:

• Act as trusted advisor and Network Advisor for the customers’ CSR’s (customized service requests)
• Participate in smaller network projects as an engineer and implementor.
• Evaluate our solutions’ change requests and use them in a more tactical and strategic context.
• Transform our customers’ needs into well-documented solutions

Your Qualifications

You have a strong technical background in network infrastructure, and you can cover most of the technical domain within ACI, network security (FW/VPN) and /or Cisco Enterprise Network.

You have:

• Relevant and adequate work experience and education (at least 3 years).
• Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• A strong commercial mindset
• Experience in understanding and designing Enterprise IT solutions.
• Some experience with technical project management.
• Professional approach and extensive experience within network solution design.
• Large knowledge of several of the technologies below:
• SGT (Security Group Tags);
• Cisco security services (fw openings mostly)
• Palo Alto services (fw openings mostly)
• Cisco ACI / NSX
• Cisco routing / switching
• MPLS, WAN;
• OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS.

It will work to your advantage if you have experience with it from a customer or supplier perspective, as well as acting as a consultant.

You can manage complex communication and negotiations from different perspectives and interests. Regardless of your background, the right drive and passion for creating strong relationships with our stakeholders is what we are looking for.

You will be supported by a broad range of Aeven specialists, so you will gain knowledge of technologies that you are less familiar with. You must be able to adopt new technologies to benefit our customers immediately.

This position requires partly physical presence in Ballerup, Odense, Århus or Ålborg, and partly physical presence at the customer, which is present in the middle of Denmark.

CCNA/CCNP level certification is a must in the technologies you advance in.
