Job summary

GN Group is seeking an Acoustic Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term position in our Ballerup, Denmark site. You will contribute to the development and verification of hearing aid technology, focusing on acoustic performance, signal processing and product quality.

The role blends lab work with cross-functional collaboration and is ideal for advancing in a global audiology organization. You will join a 12-person team with access to advanced test laboratories, contributing to projects from prototype

Qualifications

Master’s degree in acoustic engineering or related field.
Experience in product development and using audio measurement equipment.
Knowledge of electroacoustics, transducer technology and signal processing.

Responsibilities

Contribute acoustic expertise to new hearing aid development projects.
Test, calibrate and evaluate hearing aid prototypes against performance requirements.
Conduct acoustic measurements and analyses of hearing aid components.
Verify signal processing algorithms, including noise reduction, feedback cancellation and speech enhancement.
Explore technologies and simulation approaches to support product performance and quality outcomes.
Develop and apply test protocols for evaluating hearing aid performance and vibro-acoustic stability.
Collaborate with colleagues across engineering disciplines while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
