Job summary

JOE & THE JUICE is seeking an AP Manager to lead a global Accounts Payable team from our Copenhagen-based Shared Services setup. You will ensure accurate, timely supplier invoices and payments, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders across entities.

You will oversee month-end close, governance, and audits while moving the function toward automation and scalability. This is a full-time on-site role rooted in our fast-paced, people-centric culture.

• Own the monthly close process for Accounts Payable.
• Manage audit deliverables across quarterly, interim, and yearly cycles.
• Maintain control of the supplier invoice workflow and backlog.
• Own KPI reporting and performance tracking for the AP function.
• Drive automation and process improvements for scalable operations.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

The AP Manager leads the Accounts Payable team and is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments globally, safeguarding financial integrity and operational efficiency. The role ensures high-quality Accounts Payable execution across the team, oversees month-end and audit processes, and acts as the escalation point for suppliers and internal stakeholders. As part of Shared Services, reporting to the Head of P2P, this position leads a team of 7 FTEs across multiple entities and is accountable for financial governance, KPI performance, and driving the function's transition from manual to automated, scalable processes. The role is a full-time position and reports to the Head of Procure to Pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 7 FTEs across the Accounts Payable function.
• Approve journals and oversee approval of new vendors and vendor changes.
• Own the monthly close process for Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage and delegate audit deliverables across quarterly, interim, and yearly cycles.
• Maintain control and oversight of the supplier invoice workflow, including monitoring and clearing backlog to keep processing on track.
• Own KPI reporting and performance tracking, providing visibility to the Head of P2P and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, leading automation and process projects to move the function towards scalable, less manual ways of working.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong governance within the AP function.

KEY EXPECTATIONS

In this role, you take full ownership of your team's output and workload distribution, manage complex operational and people challenges, and drive process improvement across the function. You lead rather than execute - setting direction, removing blockers, and holding the team accountable to a high standard. You build the case for change, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and are a dependable leader who drives both team performance and function-wide results.
