Job summary

KnowlegeBridge, based in Aarhus, is seeking a Metal Worker to fabricate, assemble and repair metal structures and components. You will use various tools and equipment to cut, bend, shape and weld metal parts, ensuring quality and accuracy across projects.

The role requires reading blueprints and technical drawings, measuring to tight tolerances, and coordinating with teammates to meet timelines. A high school diploma and relevant metalworking experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of metalworking techniques including cutting bending shaping welding bolting riveting or soldering.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise work.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Own visa or work permit for Aarhus for non-EUEEA citizens.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal materials using rulers calipers and squares.
• Cut bend shape and weld metal pieces using saws drills grinders and welding torches.
• Assemble metal components using welding bolting riveting or soldering.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Repair damaged or worn metal parts by cutting out the damaged sections and replacing them with new pieces.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
