Job description

As a Metal Fabricator in our Horsens-based metalworking company you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to blueprints and specifications. You will use a variety of tools and equipment to cut, shape and join metal components, ensuring the highest levels of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets, plates, or tubes.
• Use various tools (e.g., saws, shears, presses) to cut or shape metal components.
• Weld or join metal parts using techniques such as soldering or bolting.
• Smooth and polish surfaces using grinders or sanders.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment (e.g., saws, welders).
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations.
• Good physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials.
• Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training in metalworking or related field.
• Knowledge of different welding techniques (e.g., MIG/TIG).
• Experience working with different types of metals (e.g., steel, aluminum).
• Familiarity with quality control principles.

Salary Starting at $1000 per month.

Working Hours This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday-Friday.

Experience At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Education High school diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training/certification in metalworking is preferred.

Location This position is based in Horsens, Denmark.
