Job summary

A manufacturing company in Aalborg is seeking an experienced procurement professional to develop category strategies and manage sourcing for critical components. Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional who can combine category strategy with hands‑on execution. You will be responsible for key components, as well as savings projects — including cooperation with suppliers outside Europe.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and implementing category strategies (highest-value components)
• Managing end‑to‑end strategic sourcing
• Negotiating contracts and commercial terms (price lists, discounts, Incoterms, payment terms, framework agreements)
• Performing procurement analyses
• Monitoring supplier KPIs and cooperating closely with Production / Technology / Finance

Who we are looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic/operational procurement in a manufacturing environment (heavy industry is a plus)
• Experience managing purchasing categories worth PLN more than 10 million per year
• Proven negotiation track record and documented savings
• Strong Excel skills (analysis) and experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of Incoterms and basic commercial law
• Experience working with suppliers outside Europe
• English at B2/C1 level
