TrioTech Recruitment is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician for opportunities across Germany, including Bavaria. You will install, service, and maintain wind turbines, ensuring high availability and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship or technical qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics.
• Experience as Wind Turbine Technician or service/maintenance role.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel across Germany and work at height.
• Good English; German beneficial but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Inspect turbines, blades, generators and gearboxes for faults.
• Troubleshoot to minimize downtime and maximize production.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Follow HSE procedures and use PPE and fall protection equipment.
• Support major component exchanges, upgrades and retrofit projects.
• Participate in emergency breakdown call-outs when required.
• Collaborate with engineers, site managers and fellow technicians.

Are you an experienced Wind Turbine Technician looking for your next opportunity in Germany?

We are partnering with leading renewable energy companies across Germany who are seeking skilled technicians to support the installation, servicing and maintenance of some of Europe's largest wind farms. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Perform inspections of turbines, blades, generators, gearboxes, transformers and control systems.
• Troubleshoot faults to minimise turbine downtime and maximise energy production.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and HSE regulations.
• Work safely at height using appropriate PPE and fall protection equipment.
• Support major component exchanges, upgrades and retrofit projects.
• Participate in emergency breakdown call-outs when required.
• Work closely with engineers, site managers and fellow technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance services.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, Service Technician or Maintenance Technician.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience carrying out fault finding, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions.
• Full driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Germany.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills. German language skills are beneficial but not essential.
• GWO Basic Safety Training (BST).
• GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART).
• GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT).
• Experience working on Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Nordex, ENERCON, GE Vernova or Senvion wind turbines.
• High Voltage (HV) switching or electrical authorisation.
• SCADA troubleshooting experience.
• First Aid certification.
• Crane, telehandler or forklift licences.
• Offshore experience (for offshore positions).
• Rope Access (IRATA) qualification.
