G.U.B. Ingenieur AG in Leipzig invites applications for a Student Intern in Geotechnical Engineering (m/f/d). This part-time role supports our geotechnical and mine rehabilitation projects with practical tasks under supervision.

You will assist with data processing in Excel, prepare planning inputs for infrastructure and hydraulic projects, and help monitor field activities. The position offers real project exposure and opportunities for research collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Student majoring in geotechnical engineering, mining engineering, engineering geology, or a related field; preferably in their third semester or later.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Enthusiasm and open-mindedness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A Class B driver's license is preferred.
• CAD skills are a plus.

We are a medium-sized engineering firm operating throughout Germany, with over 200 employees currently working at 12 locations. Our company specializes in water management, infrastructure, geotechnical engineering, natural resources, geodata, and environmental planning.
To strengthen our team at the Leipzig office, we are currently seeking to fill the following part-time position (max. 20 hours per week):

Student Intern in Geotechnical Engineering (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting the relevant departments with project-related tasks,
• Assistance with digital data processing (Excel),
• Supporting engineers in planning tasks related to key structural engineering areas in mine rehabilitation, hydraulic engineering, and transportation and infrastructure,
• Assisting engineers with geotechnical monitoring and fieldwork.
